Its Summertime fun in La-La Land this week. I used Summer Marci to make a card and coloured her with copics. I used the Palm Tree Die and the Wave Border Die  to decorate the card. Its all about Stripes this week so i dabbled in a bit of mixed media using the new mixed media stamps from La-La Land Crafts. I used  Paper Doll Marci  and Sunny Day Background stamps to create this mixed media card. I have used Dylusions ink sprays to colour Marci and make the background. Dylusions stamps and stencil were also used on the background. Lots of doodling in the hearts with a black copic liner and white gel pen for highlights. Dylusions Spray Inks Used  Lemon Zest  Fresh Lime Squeezed Orange Bubblegum Pink London Blue Vibrant Turquoise and white gel pen. This week in La-La Land we are making our own embellishments. I used the Book Trinket Box  for something different and decorated with dies and  coloured Tophat Steampunk Marci  with copics. I made a butterfly out of paper clay and a mould, dipped it in gold paint and then heat embossed some glitter gold onto it. I cut 2 lock and keys and glued them together and then heat embossed with 5 layers of gold to give it some depth and stamped words onto them using archival ink.
